Ian McNee once again should his ultra-running expertise by running the River Ay way ultra just 2 weeks after complete the Tiree ultra 35mile race. The River Ayr Way is Scotland’s first source to sea path network which begins at Glenbuck and follows the river for 66kms (44miles) to the sea at Ayr passing through some of Ayrshire’s most stunning and varied scenery from open remote moorland to shaded river gorges.
Ian completed the race in a very respectable time of 7 hours 39mins which is great considering Ian is just coming back from a hamstring injury which interrupted his training
