There was a great turnout from the Tortoises at the small, but very friendly and well organised Stranraer Half Marathon this year. Five men and 2 women braved the gales sweeping in from the Irish Sea, and an incredible 5 PBs were recorded despite the windy conditions. Congratulations go to Caroline Mutch and Anne Noble, who both won first place in their age categories, and also to Jim Phillips, who won second place in his category (and a fantastic 8th place overall). The tortoises’ results are as follows:
