We are looking forward to welcoming you to Troon on Wednesday 11th May for the return of the Troon 10k.

Please remember your bib number and timing chip which will have been posted to you, leave plenty of time for parking and note the race starts at 19.30.

We will be holding a minutes applause ahead of the race in honour of ex Troon Tortoises secretary and 10k stalwart John McKinley who passed away in 2020.

This year there is no kids race as when we organized this years 10k we were constrained by maximum numbers, in addition there are utility works along the kids race route meaning it would not be safe to take place, the kids race will be back next year.

We are a seaside town so check the weather, it could be sunny, raining or windy though it is likely to be all three, this event is organized and marshalled solely by volunteers from within Troon Tortoises but also from many residents of Troon, and we could not do this without them, so give them a wave
