Troon Tortoises head in large numbers to Irvine to take part in the 2021 Jim Young Marymass 10k taking place on Wednesday 18th August, always a well organised event on a fast flat course many a PB has been set at this race over the years.
As in previous years after the race we will be meeting in Wetherspoons next to Asda by Irvine mall to celebrate PB’s and getting back to racing in a organised event, all are welcome.
Bags can as in previous years be left in the Sports Club, i have had this confirmed by Irvine RC, left at your own risk
- Race starts at 19.00
- Chip Timed – collect your chip from Irvine Sports Club KA12 8PE
- You can park at the Sports Club note it is a 10 min walk to the start and then again at the finish
- Additional Parking and toilet facilities have been agreed with the Scottish Maritime Museum KA12 8QE – next to the finish line – opens 18.15
- Remember your free Ice Cream at Vanilla Joes afterword’s
