During the autumn season Tortoises have once again been active in diverse events (see Results 2011-2 Page). Here are just some of the events for which we have photos:
Anne Noble continued the tradition of running races in exotic places by running the Niagara Falls Marathon:
Anne disproved conventional wisdom by demonstrating that one can continuously improve with time, being first in her age category with a PB of 3:36:19!
Troon Tortoises Lady’s Team achieved second position in the Ayrshire Cross Country Relays at the Beach park in Irvine on Saturday 26th October. Here are the team of Natalie Stevenson, Laura McGarrity, and Margo James receiving their medals:

Continuing a long tradition of association with our Twin-Town in France, Niall MacPherson represented Troon Tortoises at the Villeneuve-Sur-Lot 15K du Villeneuvois Race on 30th September 2012:
The Ultra Running enthusiasts completed the River Ayr Way Race on 15th September….
